Sugargoo QC Photos Explained
Understanding Sugargoo QC photos transforms your buying experience from guesswork into informed decision-making. Each photo angle serves a specific purpose in the inspection process.
The standard Sugargoo QC photo set includes 6-10 images per item. Photo 1 shows the full item from the primary angle, giving immediate visual impression. Photo 2 provides the opposite side or rear view. Photos 3-4 deliver detailed close-ups of logos, tags, and hardware.
For footwear, additional angles include top-down view showing toe box shape, sole texture and tread pattern, insole branding, and interior stitching. Shoes typically receive 8-12 QC photos to cover all inspection points.
Lighting in QC photos is intentionally bright and even, eliminating shadows that might hide flaws. However, this also means colors can appear slightly washed out compared to real-world viewing. Adjust your expectations accordingly.
Resolution quality varies between warehouse locations. Main warehouses typically provide 2K resolution photos, while satellite facilities may deliver 1080p. Higher resolution reveals more detail but also shows more minor imperfections that may not matter in wear.
The measurement photo is crucial for apparel. It shows a tape measure laid across the garment at key points like chest, length, and sleeve. Compare these numbers against both the seller's size chart and your own measurements, not just your usual size.
Some items come with bonus QC content. High-value purchases may include video clips showing 360-degree rotation. Certain sellers provide factory photos before warehouse arrival. These extras offer additional confidence but should not replace standard QC review.
When QC photos seem insufficient, request supplements immediately. Common supplement requests include photos under natural light, close-ups of specific areas, and comparison shots with a ruler for scale. Most agents accommodate reasonable requests within 24 hours.
Archive your QC photos after receiving your haul. They serve as evidence if issues arise later, help with future sizing decisions, and contribute to community knowledge when shared in review threads.
